11.8.2020 New work for the Finnish Baroque Orchestra

Olga Heikkilä has commissioned a new work for soprano, baroque orchestra and objects. Steam Engine (2020) is based on historical accounts on steam engines, coal mining and coal burning in Britain between 1661-1842. 20.5.2018 New work for the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra

Working on a new piece, Everyday etudes no.3. Commissioned by Alter Face (Tomeu Moll-Mas and Albert Díaz) for objects, two pianos and electronics, to be premiered in Berlin in 2018.

Working this spring on a piece for orchestra, construction materials and tools, and soundfiles. Instrumentation: 3 soloistic object players, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone, percussion (1 player), strings 66443, sound files.
